Just received one of these from China

I got onet because it was some incredibly cheap offer just a few cents. Probably cost them more in postage. However it is brilliant.
It has 9 actual diodes in the package with apparently series current control resistors. On 12v it actually draws more than claimed so would need another resistor about 2 ohms perhaps to bring the power back to rating of 10w. Or a buck regulator down to about 11v. It also needs to be mounted on a bit of aluminium to take away the heat. Anyway for those who like to fiddle it is very cheap. good luck olewill
