There are several LED conversions for mini-Maglite available off ebay - anyone know if any of them are any good please?

A LED conversion is a good upgrade on the Maglite, but it wont be as good as a torch designed for LED. The Maglites were the best torches available in their day, but they have been left behind.
You can pick up 3 small cree torches at CostCo for less than the price of a single conversion.
If you want to go ahead, make sure you go for a Cree LED, they are the best available at the moment.
