Hello everyone,

This is my first post, but I have been enjoying the stories and wealth of experience on this forum for >10 years, but never registered in fact. I am based in The Netherlands and currently have a 19ft Interboat open sloop. I have just placed an order for a new Intender 640 with a 42 pk Vetus which will allow me to greatly extend my cruising to the lakes that surround the province of Flevoland for example.

One of the options I ticked are the LED courtesy lights. The ones that Interboat offer are very small strips with three LEDs that are just intended to lighten the floor a bit. I would like to have something that gives a bit more light for when we are moored. Do you have any suggestions for such courtesy lights? The only name I knew was Cantalupi from the posts on this forum, but from the catalogue on their website they seem to be available in 24V only.

Thanks for your help.
Eric

Welcome EricJ. As this is your first post, it has slipped down the page a bit, as is normal. I personally can't help, but there will be many on here who can, when they see your post. Best wishes for happy sailing on your new boat, and please post up some pics.

I've used http://www.litewave.co.uk to great effect on my boat.

They started in the auto industry, so lots of their products are correctly IP rates for wet environments. Much cheaper than some of the name brand marine kit, but great quality and fantastic customer service.

Lots to choose from there!

I just bought some IP rated strip led for steps going down to forward cabin. You can talk to them for support unlike many eBay shops.

Thanks very much for your replies. I will check these out.
Factory visit is planned for September; will definitely get some pics then :)
