I recently broke the tiny screw driver bit on my Leatherman TTI and contacted the company by email to explain my problem.
Very quick reply asking for a postal address to send the part out to.
Very quick again for the delivery from them of 2 of every type of screw driver bit that my TTI comes with at no cost.
The end result a very happy customer.

no affiliation with the company just satisfied with the after sales service.

Leathermans 25 year warranty is a godsend and they're are good to their word. If you snap the end of the pliers off whilst being an idiot you can send it back and they'll return it like it was new no questions asked.

I got the same level of service from Gerber when my multiplier broke. I sent them the broken one with a letter and 10 days later got the broken one back .............with a brand new upgraded version and a short note saying "Sorry." Impressed, that's what I call a warranty.

Echo that about Leatherman. I snapped the end of the knife blade trying to use it to prise something open. Stupid. Phoned to ask if I could send it back fro repair. "Of course, free of charge, lifetime warranty". Came back with a new blade and some paint stains cleaned off too.

echo that , I broke the plier piece on a strong piece of metal , got a return address and they repaired it FOC
Just bought an extra one to permanently keep on the boat

Why were you cutting your way out of a bog????????

Why would I want to stay in a bog?

(The latch had jammed, but being a rented house I didn't want to just kick the door down and destroy it. Having my gerber on me, I unscrewed the cover plate on the lock and was digging a hole in the wood underneath it, so that the plate could later be put back and cover it. Nearly all the way there, the blade snapped at the finger-slot. So I gave up and kicked my way out - the door indeed shattered into two pieces and had to be replaced, although the landlord kindly didn't charge for it in the circumstances.)
