It has come to the attention of more than one forumite that Learner has somehow got all slim and trim, or at least thrown away the large cushion he used to lash around his waist. Obviously, this has nothing to do with him not having been on my boat for a while, so how's he done it?

Its coz his SWMBO is keeping him down in SoF on a med diet, and he's not getting the chance to fill up on pints of brains bitter and shepperd's pies....

Here is the answer...

1) Drink and enjoy SoF so much that you put on about 3 1/2 stone..
2) Knacker knee on lobberly boat and go inactive for 9 months
3) Weigh yourself.....
4) Buy new scales
5) Go to doctor in belief that new scales are bad...
6) Get told you're a ' Heap of S' French-style
^a) Reach 50 yrs old and decide you want to play 1 more game of rugby , even though it's 10 yrs sinnce the last one ( and regret)
7) Cut out red meat more than once a week and join BioviMer gym ( hey.. I get to watch boats as I train in Mairina BdAnges!!)
8) Lose 2 stone somehow
9) Go out for dinner with TCM lookalike and lose armwrestling contest in posh london joint..
10) Redefine goals ( see below)
11) New regime :- ( 5times a week )
a) Cycle 10 mins ( currently around 5.5k)
b) Row 2000m ( 8'20")
c) X-train
d) weights ...blah, blah, blah etc.
12) Now down to about 80 kg etc ( only 1/2 stone to ggo etc)


NEW GOAL - Beat TCM at public arm - wrestle in Jan 2005..
