A salutary lesson. Look for the obvious solution first. Having had engine fuel problems at times for a while, cleaned the tank, overhauled the fuel system etc. etc., then saw the leak from the bleed screw on the engine filters, the ally washer and the seat were both knackered, as soon as the filter got a bit bunged the injector pump pulled air in through it. Ten minutes up the engineering shop, job done. Still, everythings top hole now.....(as opposed to bottom hole before).
