leaks

Hello,has anyone a good method of finding small leaks. Please no remarks about filling her with water and seeing where it comes out.What I have is water coming into the stern locker I thought it was seeping in through the rudder tube I replaced this and well sealed it in with epoxy,but when I stand on the after deck to put the outboard on water slowly appears which makes its way to the bilge my boat is a wooden one with no self drainers.Also Ihave two shelves one under each side deck which Ifind with water in them I thought it was leaking through the windows I had replaced but giving them a good soaking with a hose revealed nothing
any help will be welcome

Try putting chalk lines (black board chalk) along every surface where you think water might be running down.. the water will wash away the chalk where the water runs, so you can track down the source... Nick

is it planking or marineply,I would be looking at your seams and stern posts as even a small knock could cause problems.

Use a powder cleaner that change colour when wet. Sprinkle the area and you will see where the water come.
