Yes I am a gready boy, 2 posts in 2 minutes!!
Prompted by a recent thread linking leaky seals in weed strainers with overheating I thought that i should check mine as I recently developed an overheating problem.
Sure enough there is a small drip (every second with the valve open)
2 questions guys.
1, the opinion on the other thread was that even a small leak like mine could be a source of overheating as the impellor is sucking air as well as water in. Could this really be my problem.
2, On investigation I find that there is no rubber seal at all in the end cap, it should be 7cm diameter, I cant find a makers name on the unit, how will I source a suitable seal?
