At the end of last year, I had a drip out of the slot on my water pump, and subsequently had the shaft seals replaced; the guy showed me the shaft which seemed OK so left as is. Since re-launch it has a drip, not while it's running but after switching off. It's not from the slot and it's not from the gasket on the impeller housing; it looks like it's oozing from a crack in the top of the casing, at the front where the inlet and outlet pipes are attached. Is this plausible?
Had a reasonable quote for £200 only slightly over exchange price which is obviously not possible with a non-reusable casing.

There's a screw in about the location you describe that holds the cam plate. Any chance thats the cause of the leak.

It might be coming from around one of the rubber o rings which hold the pipes into the pump. I usually use new ones and smear them with Vaseline when refitting.

It could be from the screw - my recollection is the water is oozing out into a droplet and then dripping down from an apparent location just behind the screw - does it have a square washer? what's the solution - just tighten it up?

I'll check the pipe inlets as well.
