Leak through windscreen seals

I have rain ingressing through the windscreen seals. Any cure for this short of changing the seal? This appears a major task as the alu frame is screwed in and screw heads are not accessible without a major dismantling job. Windscreen and frame are Trend Marine products.

Try using Captian tolleys crack and leak sealent, its a white fine liquid that does work and it dries clear.

I’ve just done my windows, with the same problem, in situ. I gouged out all, or all I could get, of the old sealer, cleaned with a scotchbrite, primed with Sika Activator then sealed with Sikaflex 255. It seems to have done the trick.

As above using a sealant designed for aluminium and glass, saves the priming stage. Did mine 12 years ago and still dry.

Sikaflex 255 is designed for aluminium and glass for use without a primer, but as the job is a pain in the @rse, I thought I'd make sure it would not need doing again in my lifetime!

Thanks Bigwow. Either with or without primer it seems we agree that the job is pretty easy although time consuming and worth taking the trouble.
