anyone know where i can buy some lead shot/ballast in the plymouth area? preferably somewhere that opens on the weekend?

You dont say how much you need but generic answer: scrap metal merchants (yellow pages) and, for small amounts, diving shop.

I bought some lead ballast which was supplied in pieces about 6 x 12 x 2 cm from a firm very close to Plymouth about 6 years ago. I have lost the invoice but I should think a search of the yellow pages in that area might locate the firm.

I've actually got some lead ingotts stacked in my garage, which I've never got round to selling. I think I've got about 10 ingots of 15kg each, but I'd have to check. Based in North somerset. Let me know if you're interested.
