Rife with tourist trap restaurants you have to climb up the hill on the road out to Port Vendres to find really good cuisine. Lunch is more reasonably priced than dinner, the view across Collioure to Sainte Marie eglise and fort, stunning.
Rumour has it that Guide Rouge are going to give them a second rosette, which could play havoc with prices and availability as chattering Parisians and stolid Catalans invade the place.
€28 lunch menu is good value and they have a very representative list of the better Roussillon wines (albeit at x2 the prices at the vignerons).
