Not many great eating spots here that I can fathom, so before I think of beer, here's mention of a nice new cafe on the main "square" thingie down by the water in Cobh. Makes damn good coffees of the espresso based variety, but presented very nicely (love the little biccies and extra hot milk provided in a jug) and the sarnies look great. Had some good carrot cake- ordinarily offered with whipped cream, but upon request, the pouring stuff for me (sooo much nicer).
Looks smart, but not a chain- a family outfit with one other in Limerick.
Just watch out for some of the assistants, not quite got the act together yet- one tried to charge 4E for a double macchiato- i.e. 2 singles. Ouch. But quickly sorted.
