Sadly I could not attend which is a shame as i fondly remember the last award ceremony i think it was the last time i lay down seriously on the east coast although i do have horrible vague dreams of being buried alive in the aft cabin aboard Mr Tinkles and awakening on the 1st of jan numbed with cold from my scalp to my toes.
All that said I was with you in spirit well actually not only in spirit there was beer involved as well in fact quite a lot of beer and in true tradition of the ECF i too traveled to a venue away from my home port do my laying down one "Murphys Bar" in Nicosia not very coastal however the view was wonderful and the young ladies providing it are to be complemented which they were by all my new friends here.

I am sure Mr & Mrs FC have done you all proud as usual i look forward to the really embarrassing pics to come
