Lawrance LGC-3000 GPS Receiver

My Lawrance GPS antenna "is not responding" according to the message from the plotter. I have carried out the tests suggested by Lawrance which point to a failure of the module.

It is not worth the expense delay etc of returning it to the USA and I hope someone here can suggest a repairer in this country.

I have assumed it is not a diy job.

Have you checked the inline fuse ? I had a similar problem and it turned out to be the fuse.

Alas it is not the fuse but thanks for reminding me to check.

It could be that you are into New Unit territory
If so consider getting the LGC 4000 which is much improved upon previous incarnations. Your problem sounds similar to one I had with the LGC 2000 a few years ago. It was faulty and replaced under warranty.
