cause they can't put the mast on till next week.

Should I just go out without a mast and enjoy the weather??

we had to motor from chichester to inverness to get our mast after first launching. it gave us a bit of a taste for life as a stinkie! enjoy it.

Daft question.... would it not have been easier to bring the mast to the boat?

Or are the stepping charges so high in Chichester that the fuel costs aren't outweighed by the transport costs?

yes, we considered the option of transporting a 15 metre mast and 11 metre boom from scotland and took the cheap and easy alternative.
