Finally - a day of much excitement, we started the testing on our E3. The purpose of the trip was to shakedown all the systems before returning with the family to take her from the yard. Obligatory hull shot:

I'm afraid after the launch, I took a lot less photos as I was somewhat distracted /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. We did find a small marina to do some close quarters testing. Bonus marks for anyone that can work out where this is:

We did fit - though it was very tight /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The yard have a few things left to finish off, but the snag list is astonishingly small - I continue to be impressed by the thought put into the boat by all at the yard. Back with the family soon to start enjoying her. I can't wait!

You don't think that would be tempting fate too much? You, a cat A boat, November and the North Sea....

Thanks for the offer - will shout if needed.

Cheers,
Rick

Yeah - that trailer is the business. Radio controlled, so the operator can walk around it to check clearances. Independent steering, so it can crab and get out of the tightest storage shed. Quite a piece of kit! I'd rather have the boat though /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wow,

She looks stunning. The blue hull is fantastic and really sets the boat apart. So you have great build quality, great design and a great boat yard. Only the passage making handling to go and she will get full marks.

Must admit she would be on my list if buying something of that size.

Keep up the pics and well done on your new arrival.

Paul

Hi Rickp

Well, I'm a Raggie, but I have to say, that is a really lovely looking boat. I hope you have fantastic times in her.

Best of luck, Jerry

Great looking boat I think, be very interested to see how the story develops in terms of sea worthiness and general construction etc. Have to say the couple i have viewed seemed extremely well thought out.

More pix please i(n rough weather)

PS Whats the canvas cockpit cover affair doing in the trailer shot?

Not Aalst - but its not too far from there. Has a reasonable sized marina outside, but the inner harbour is very narrow and very useful for close quarters practicing /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Fabbo rickp. Love the combination of dark blue hull + red antifoul. What about some interior shots?
