We've got the date in the diary now for launching on the 24th October at Ridge Wharf, Wareham. I antifouled her a couple of weeks ago and used all the tin, none left for dabbing the patches which the propping up posts will leave. I've had a rope cutter on for the last couple of seasons but with the boat having a shallow keel and a skeg, I'm going to take a chance and remove it to see if there's much difference in performance. Haven't had a chance yet to change the transducer but I'll measure the thread OD on the existing one so I can plan this in the future. I'll change the fuel filters and replace the heat exchanger anode. The plan, once launched, is to wait for a good weather window and steam round to her new berth inWeymouth. I'lldo the oils when there so I can warm her up a bit.
My main concerns at the moment are the reliability of the engine after being sat for a year. I didn't want to top the diesel tank up as one of the tasks on the list was to clean the tank. Unfortunately, this never got done.

I suspect that the engine will be just fine assuming it was when she was laid up?

Most likely issue is with fuel, which you have obviously considered - was the fuel in the tank treated with one of the many products available? Probably worth having a supply of replacement filters aboard.
