Hey everyone, I've asked this once before altough it's been quite some time now... perhaps there are fresh members who could help me out: ever since the beginning I've experienced fresh water entry which, unfortunately, only shows up once it's arrives in the bilge. In other words, when it's raining hard (like now...) my bilge more or less floods. Anyone who could give me a distinctive clue, who had the same problem and solved it ? I've already done quite some searching and sealing, but any (to the point) tip is very welcome since it persists...

I don't know the boat be could be alot of places.. anchor locker (drains blocked?), portholes, windcreen mounts, wiper mount, runoff from the tonneau etc.. only advice I can offer is if it's definitely fresh water and definitely only when it rains then get the hosepipe out with a spray attachment and simulate rain coming down on all the potential entry points to the boat methodically checking for water ingress. have someone spray the water whilst you ferret around looking for the leak

If you can divide bilge into compartments , then block limber holes and then sprinkle talc in lines in suspect areas . We found a leak like this , we thought it was rain but in fact it was the freshwater tank leaking when full to the brim .

No one knows the Larson better than the guy who sells them, I would say he would answer your question. Ring Mick on 01903 713854
