Lanzarotte Question

Anyone there or been recently (Im 4 years out of date)?

Was reading a leaflet this morning I picked up in La Linea about Jimmy Cornells new rally, departing from 'Lanzarotte Marina in Areciffe.

This is planned for this November but google not helping, shows website under construction.

Anyone know about the new place and its progress??

If last year after the price rises, is any indication I don't think it will be that busy. Rubicon which used to be a great short stop marina has lost a huge amount of business after raising prices (upto 55%).

The new marina in Arecife is well under way with a number of pontoons already being used, I think unofficially at the moment, but rates will not be cheap as it is being built by the same people as own Puerto Calero.

Most marinas in the Canaries are suffering from the downturn which is only getting worse on the islands.
