Langstone harbour marina channel

Leaving Sat afternoon (motoring in a 26ft raggie) and got to narrowest part of channel (keeping an eye on the dinghy racers) - several yachts coming in and moved slightly out of channel for racer passing between myself and incoming yacht (still got shouted out) and then another one from port passes within inches across my bow (more abuse from them and me, to my shame)

Who sets these courses to allow them to cross at narrowest point in a busy channel, and what are the racing rules concerning this.

Didn't a race boat get clobbered by a tanker this time last year?

Sounds like you came across the Locks Sailing Club Regatta dinghy race so might be worth a call to them to ask your question.

I was sitting in the safety RIB up by Sinah buoy (the leeward mark) so not guilty yer 'onour!
