Some of you may remember my quest to strip chrome from plastic, having removed the paint (thread 4854269). The end result was provided by FullCircle who kindly sent them for chrome stripping, with an excellent result. Thank you.
One of the products I considered for stripping the paint was Langlow Strip Away Pro Paint and Varnish Remover, but I decided to use NaOH first in case the stripper damaged the plastic.
I have now used this paint stripper on another item (my roller blinds, thread 402519), and I'm glad I didn't use it on the plastic. This stuff is ferocious, like Nitromors used to be. No connection, just a satisfied user.
