Recently I posted about white ish stains on an 6 yearold benteau cabin floor and asked if anyone had any solutions. I cant find the post now . but would like to add that I have found quite a good solution not 100% but good enough to make a big difference. just use metal polish on it in the normal way and it brings up the wood effect again. so presumably the dull whitish patches are just micro type scratches and or heat induced stains on the laminate coating.

I recently had a conversation with a chap who owned a boat similar to mine, whose laminate floor was looking tired. He found a product in US which did a great job, and I have since found tha they have a UK subsidiary.

A long winded way to clean a saloon floor though .
