Just for information…
My boat came to me with a brand new Lalizas LA-11510 LT-0
It’s basically a Jabsco compact clone. Same footprint, same dimensions and same issues with the flip flop valve.
In my wisdom, I chose to buy a Jabsco pump assembly thinking it would probably fit. All the screws and ports are in the same place and everything looked good until I separated the pump from the base. The gasket between the two is different. The internal mouldings are just slightly different meaning the two would not mate together. They are not interchangeable.
The Lalizas is also about as Mickey Mouse as you might expect. Looks like a Jabsco, but the pump internals are a very basic copy of the Jabsco. I see they’re about the same price as the Jabsco. I appreciate none of these things represent the height of engineering but this is especially poor.
Maybe (unlikely) this will help someone in the future.
