The article I have is new boat report from MB&Y, got it years ago when I was looking from the Copy SHop.

Reading between the lines of these posts is it the 11.5 that you have? I looked at a 10m at Bursledon last year with twin Ivicos but it had been hacked about internally and I couldn't make up my mind. Quiet Waters or some such name.

Yes its an 11.5 built in 1973 name of Spirit of Carnival, last owner had her for 12 years based at Strood and just used her locally. We took over and started using the boat for longer distances.Always had an overheating problem which we used to try and get round, until it lost some of the head gasket out the side while off Sheppey one lumpy day! Turned out the head gasket that went was an apalling copy that did'nt fit properly anywhere and covered half the waterways.Hay ho.
Hopefully with the new ones fitted it will be OK but in deferance to their age I'll only run them at 2000rpm max (2600 listed as max continuous)
Regards Al.
