I take it you mean Lefkas Vic?

If you pay in advance (before the end of October) they have been giving a 30% discount (plus a further 6% for CA membership). there's a fairly lively liveaboard social world, without the pressure to join in that you find in some spots. It the only place that we've done 2 winters in during 10 years of living aboard full time.

Cheers

Bob

Yes sorry Bob Lefkas .
What we was looking for was for a two or three months , I know in the pass if you just turned up some time you could get better deal then booking up in advances .
I wounded if they still give the 30% discount for a two or three month contact .
6% for CA members , Mmmm have to ask Jim or Tony if I can have a cheap membership :)

Hi Vonasi
NO expensive bars isn't our thing , we know Lefkas well as well as we know the rest of Greece , over the years we have spend enough time around there , we been given a price of 613 euros for three month plus vat , all in all it not that bad , yes if we compear it with our last three winters stop overs it more but then things are not getting any cheaper . We would rather just sail thought the winter but some things have turned up so we need a base for a few months , at the moment it looks like Lefkas could be it unless things change . That price so. I understand incul power and water so all in all it isn't that bad .

The merry go round begins Sunsail to Levkas, Neilson to Vounaki, who will go to Nidri?. Sail Ionian? Nissos? I know a few local businesses who are a little worried by the uncertainty next year.

The same group runs Gouvia marina and they as yet have not started to fit meters in there. I hope they dont! Moorings at the moment include electricity, but not potable water, thats on a card, can't rember how much per cube though, although know its expensive, even more than Malta.

First visit to Lefkas. I was not sure what to expect but left feeling disappointed. On the plus side it's well run with clean modern facilities. On the negative any character the town or marina may have is swamped by the chartering evil empire.
After the peace and calm of Messalonghi we found Lefkas to be noisy and raukus. The big benefit was meeting a few ex pat Brits who will help me with some work that needs doing this winter. Horses for courses I suppose.
