I'm looking for a pair of deck trainers for SHMBO - size 37 but in a ladies fit. Only ones I can find are by Harken at an exorbitant £70. Compass do a size 37 - tried a pair of these but they were far too big.

Anyone got any suggestions?

dubarry are excellent good colours and will last for ages- about the same price but she's worth it

swmbo's received an email from Tchibo and I'm about to post a query re their sailing gear but first....

Ideal for walking, these Leather Trainers are extremely light and comfortable. They come with soft, supple cowhide uppers, a padded ankle section, high-quality pigskin lining, cushioning EVA padding, a removable EVA insole and a rubber sole.
Material: outer material: cowhide; lining: pigskin; insole: EVA; sole: rubber
Colour: white/red
Price £5 was £9.99
http://www.tchibo.co.uk/ and search for women's leather trainers

If they are suitable for sailing (description is similar to Harken's) you could buy swmbo several pairs and a pair of duberry for yourself /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

IzzyDeadyet - thanks for the link. Unfortunately they only go down to size 5 and SWMBO is a size 4 (Euro 37). This is the problem all along - plenty of women's sailing trainers but most start at size 5 or 6. Thanks anyway.
