Shamu is a Beneteau 321 which I have owned since 1999 and kept at La Rochelle since 1994. This summer I am planning to relocate to Portugal and require additional crew to do the initial leg across Biscay and along the North Spanish coast to Coruna.
Passage plan is to cross Biscay from La Rochelle to Gijon (250 NM) then leisurely sail along N Spanish coast to Coruna exploring the ports en-route. I have experience of the N Spanish coast, but have not previously crossed Biscay. I am looking for one additional crew to join myself and one other 50-something male. You will need to be comfortable taking a watch during the passage across Biscay.
Crew contributions for food / fuel / marinas and crew to pay for transport to/from the boat. There are good budget flight options to both departure and destination ports.
Intended departure in 5 June and I am allowing 2 weeks. Any delays waiting for weather will be spent cruising near La Rochelle.
