Not a telescope but a reasonable telephoto lens (400mm). Much beyond 400mm and the prices start to go as high as, well..... the moon!

Yes, it will be a pretty extreme spring tide this Monday, but not the highest of the year. So what makes other non-perigee spring tides bigger than a perigee spring tide?
