Grehan #2 has one of these engines, I think it may also be the same as a Nanni 2203 (French re-badge?). They also seem to be used a lot for construction plant and generators (bit like Yanmar?).
I've got hold of the technical data sheet - 4cyl, 2197cc, 40/45HP - but has anyone practical experience, tips, things to watch out for? Thanks in advance.

Beta Marine do their variant on the basic engine.
I've got 3000 hours on the clock (in eight years) and no problems with the basic engine.
These engines are well designed with good tolerances and lot of holes / studs to fit extra bits of kit (that's why I make no comment on the extras, as they'll be totally different to yours).
