I secretly admire Dylan Winter and KTL

but in my experience in DK waters

given the smallness of my boat

the cloudiness of my skies

it seem an utter waste of good bandwidth and scarce personal grey matter.

It is, in my opinion, about as useful as soduku.

An utterly pointless (non)intellectual excercise.

By the way my wife warned me that I would alienate the one KTL’er until there were only none left who still agreed with.

But…. I’m still paying an exorbitant sum at regular intervals to be able to follow a strange man’s journey :D

I have just changed my mind about Soduku

Soduku is a very challenging enterprise

it helps to keep the mind sharp and passes time during those long winter evening when keen sailors are unable to get afloat

I think that the jokes hidden away in the little squares are very entertaining

you can also improve your knowledge of history and the environment by engaging with soduku

and I think that it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen

Dylan

PS soduku is an utter waste of my scarcest resourse - namely my brain power

as my father never said "happiness does not come from an excel spreadsheet"

he did tell me never to marry a horsewoman though because "they are too good at controlling an animal that is bigger and dummer than they are"
