I own a Kohler 1996, model 8E gen set. For NO apparent reason (hi temp, low oil etc etc) the unit stoped runing after starting. Upon checking, I found that the 10 amp fuse labled---INPUT---on the controler unit was blown. Locating and replacing this fuse allowed me to crank the eng for a few revs only to find the fuse blown again.
Does any one have any ideas as to the probable cause???
