We have a Kohler 9EFOZD in our houseboat on Kariba. We live in South Africa and have received the news that an incorrect "raw water pump" had been fitted resulting in water leaking into the sump oil which resulted in a hydrolic jam which may have bent one of the conrods - being far away we need a second opinion. Is this possible? what is a raw water pump? What should we do before stripping this unit?
