know any good boat rentals in france??

hi,
going on holiday to the south of france, near a town on the cast called Cassis-with family, and others. we are looking for a place to rent a sports boat, we want to be able to do a bit of skiing, wakeboarding, and towing the kids in a ringo. anyone been there, or know of a rental place where i might find such a boat?? any one got one to hire??

If you go into any of the bigger marinas you normally find charter companies offering small peche-promenade type boats for hire, some small ones available for hire without licence and larger ones only available with licence. I'm not sure your ICC will be recognised though and I dont know whether this kind of boat is fast enough for skiing. Cassis itself is probably a bit small to have this kind of operation but you could try marinas further east like Bormes-Les-Mimosas or Le Lavandou

ICC

ICC is OK, but be prepared to have a few words of 'discussion' with the broker about its eligibility, helps that it is now sub-titled in French !! They don't care that much although I'm sure it invalidates their insurance.
