Anyone got any knowledge / opinions on the Kiwi feathering prop. Thinking of putting one one my new boat. I think it looks pretty good.

We have a Brunton on our Moody. Don't know the Kiwi, but the concept is brilliant. If it is a good make, you will certainly see a benefit.

Hi Alex, I've been and blown my cash now.
I am having a Kiwiprop, but couldn't find them at the Show. Not listed in the guide either. Boo Hoo. Here is the e-mail I got before Christmas from Vecta Marine. They are the UK agent.

#We are pleased to inform you that you can view a Kiwiprop at the London Boat Show at S.D.Marine from January 6-16th.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hope to see you at the Boat Show!

Search on PBO, as I had a good thread running. Usual moaners and detractors, but some encouraging words too. Google search of other forums also encouraging.
If you want I can send you the bumf they sent me. RRP is 795 +VAT

I'm thinking of getting one put on my Maxi to replace the Volvo 3 blade folder. Seems like a practical and well engineered alternative. I'll have a look at the Maxi stand on Thursday evening. That's after we've won the quiz.

Bill. I'm interested in the fact that you are replacing a Volvo 3 blader with a feathering prop. Could you please read my thread on Practical Boat Owner forum and comment please? I didn't see the Kiwi either....
