I am looking for a new back which I can carry on my back with two straps, without a full rucksack frame so that it stows easier on board.

I just came across these on Amazon.

No.1 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gul-70L-Wet...F8&qid=1399895383&sr=8-8&keywords=gul+dry+bag

No.2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gul-Litre-W...F8&qid=1399895383&sr=8-9&keywords=gul+dry+bag

Now I know that I am not always the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I ain't that gullible !!

If you go to big orange water sports at http://www.bigorangewatersports.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=279 £40.00

instead of big orange water sports at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gul-70L-Wet...F8&qid=1399895383&sr=8-8&keywords=gul+dry+bag £42.50 + £3.50 shipping

you can get it for £2.00 cheaper at £40.00, except you have to pay £2.50 shipping instead ;)

This is my preferred sailing bag: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/hi-gear-lugga-cargo-90-travel-pack-p143464

They also do 60-litre and 120-litre versions.

No frills, just a single big compartment in waterproof fabric - no endless pockets to hunt through :). Zips and seams are not fully proofed, so it's not suitable for immersion, but the odd leak, splash, condensation or opened hatch are no bother.

Less relevant now I'm generally just pushing a trolley from the car park to my own boat - but for joining boats and ships in odd places it has a useful set of shoulder straps for the inevitable walking through airports, to bus stops, and along docks. It's not a full-on hiking rucksack, but the straps far better than just sticking your arms through the handles of a conventional holdall. Handles on each end good for lowering it down hatchways in a vertical fashion.

Folds down very small too.

Interestingly the Gul official site http://www.gul.com/bags/1/?sort=price_high&user_length=8&cat_id=13

does not display any 70L bags or the one referred to in the site
