Having got several second/third hand reports we went in there a couple of weeks ago, There have now been extensions built to both north and east breakwaters and whilst works still have a long way still to go (the place is a giant building site) it does now provide a fully protected and secure berth or anchorage on the long run between Pylos and Katakolon,

Sounds good. We had a very disturbed night on the wall even though the weather was very good. Lots of fouling on the harbour bottom too. It was a place to be avoided.
