Kingston Town Moorings

Does anybody know what the depth of these mooring is like? They are the moorings to starboard as you approach the town, past the Turks launch pier, and they used to have little jetties which were removed a year or so ago? We normally stop off near John Lewis, but there is a restaurant I fancy trying nearer to the Town moorings... Thanks!

The ones that were at near enough right angles ? We always used to go bow in leaving the backside in deeper water.

I am sure it's fine depth wise I would be more worried about junk that's been thrown in, which restaurant ? We tried iguana a few times which was v good. As for Jamie's he can go and whistle having tried to go three times and being told to wait an hour by some jumped up kid at the same time as looking at a room full of empty tables ..

Yep, that's the ones. As the boat would be parallel with the bank the depth concerns me, and good point about whatever else has been chucked in, as the how in approach would have been ok otherwise, although they weren't long enough for our boat. Thinking of Steins, newish German joint, I'm thinking sausages and Steins of beer!

Ah Steins yes the same folk who run the one on the Richmond tow path which is truly amazing but only when the sun is shining as its outside ! Lt me know how the Kingston one turns out as I quite fancy one !
