King\'s Head Yarmouth

When I saw the way this place was run I wondered why every over pub I try manages to be so crap...

Attractive friendly staff, quick and efficient service, and when I ordered my standard ( hopefully impossable to totaly foul up) Cod n chips, it was crisp delicious and good value (£7:50).

Beer was well kept also which is getting to be a rarity...It had to be familly run and I rather got the impression it was Dad and a couple of daughters...but could be wrong of course.

1st rate.

Re: King\'s Head Yarmouth

Always been reliable, although last year we did have a couple of, comparatively, disappointing visits. One was due to a well below par fish and chips, served to a friend, which was particularly embarrassing as I had really bigged the place up. The other was marred by a table load of corporates (male and female) who had to make sure that the whole pub knew of their sailing prowess, can't blame the pub for that though!
