Has last nights Pope paul thread been removed?
I made a response fairly lateish and I have only just got back from a trip down south. The comments were humour over the length of time the Pope was lying in state and i was looking forward to the responses to my critiscism.

most of the papal threads have gone, leaving only the main one. i think several got quite offensive, even to an atheist like me. the remaining thread has so far been limited to personal animosity.

the expresion "the satanic postings" springs to mind.

It was not in particularly good taste and it was not maturing in the way that one would expect if it was to remain palatable.
