Kim this is real this time - Insurance

I know this topic has had a troubled and stormy past but this is an honest question.

Please which company can be recommended ? As my present insurer will only cover to the Med. I need the Atlantic, Caribbean and Family travel cover.

Very good people - I used to be with Pantaenius, all round the world, till they decided only to insure very very expensive boats - bigger premiums for the same hassel.....

You will get Atlantic and Caribbean fine but Family travel - health is a minefield and virtually impossible unless you just take 90 day travel with some company and return each 90 days to keep it valid....

Agree with Bambola. I used to be insured with Navigators and General Direct. No problem but they were INSURANCE people who don't really understand boats. Max is a YACHTIE person who is also an insurance underwriter. By looking at the precise requirements of my proposed trip to the Med this year he was able to reduce my premium, still with Nav and General, and give me a tailored product suited to my needs. What impressed me more than anything was that Max himself took the trouble to respond in person to my detailed E-Mails and followed up by telephone not just once but three times. In the unlikely event of a claim when miles away from home, this is exactly the response one needs. In these days of automated telephone responses (press button 3 if you are pissed off) I am more than happy to endorse a superb personal service from someone who is prepared to go the extra mile. Well done Max!!!
