Kim - Potty signatures - help

Does anyone else feel the same way as me about the signatures on this BB? If they were in a different colour or font I might not end up reading them twenty times in every long thread!
Some of them are mildly amusing the first few times, but during a protracted thread they drive you potty! - especially when the message is only three words long, and the signature about fifteen.

Grumble, grumble, mutter, mutter...I just don't believe it!

I will tell you what drives me potty
the fact that no matter where in the world i sail
every time i want to go somewhere the wind is in the direction i want to go.
it is blowing a hooly when you want to yacht but light airs when you want to go play on a hobbie or laser
the fact that the day you forget to tie the outboard on is the day it decides it wants to learn to swim
the fact that every time i coil or secure a rope someone always has a 'better method'
the fact that everyone else always leaves their christmas shopping till christmas eve too.
the fact that if you wnat a drink after 11 pm you have to go to a club full of missing links where you cannot hear yourself think
my printer only ever plays up when a document is really urgent, likewise pc and email.

i could go on
but in life's scale strap lines are very low down.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'you're making a scene'.

Ummm....well.....errrm

See the point; given some posts I'm not always sure where the post stops and the parable begins. We could character cap the signature window as a starting point or remove it altogether. There would of course be a riot but that's all pretty much par for the course.

What happens if we simply force it to appear in another colour (no, not white)?

Lighten up, guys and gals!

They're just a little expression of personality. And like all personalities, some can seem nice at first glance but puerile, boring or irritating at second.
But why not?

However . . .
I do agree with Kim. Make 'em a different colour - or rather, a different tone.
Grey or Silver. And/or in italics. So they're a bit like a watermark. You can overlook them if you want to.

PS I'm going to be changing mine at regular intervals . . .
