\"KES\" U.K Circumnavigation.

Just to let everyone know that this evening, retired fire-fighter Mick Fellows will be departing from Hartlepool to undertake a clockwise cicumnavigation of the U.K and Ireland in aid of the R.N.L.I and the Fire Brigade's National Benevolent fund, He will be stopping off at various marinas on the way and would welcome any support, etc. He will be carrying sponsership forms with him, His vessel "KES" is a 28' cutter rigged yawl, designed by Van de Stadt and built of steel. Mick is funding the trip himself and all monies raised will go to the two charities named so any marina managers out there who can offer a free berth for the odd night will be much apprieciated, (PM me and I'll pass it on) I trust you'll all wish him well on his trip. Cheers, Mike.

Re: \"KES\" U.K Circumnavigation.

Thanks for the info, Mickshep. I'll look out for him when he passes our way. So many yachts now do the circumnavigation each year that I think he'll be lucky to expect special treatment.

Pass on our good wishes.
