The big advantage Hugo Boss had was teh ability to kant the keel to windward and pump several tons of water to the leeward ballast tanks, thereby creating the crazy angle of heel with the keel up.

But hey, if I had a boat like that I'd sure give it a go!

I have photos of PyroJames doing similar shennanigans on an upturned HobieCat shortly before beign catapulted underwater. A HobieCat doesn't strictly have a keel, but it was very amusing.
