Keel repair

Hi, I had a patch of
Delamination on my keel , steel, encased in a woven roven cloth. I’ve ground back and feathered out the whole area ready to build back up, I just wanted some help on which method to use , I’m going to use west system regardless. But to build up a barrier with coats of resin, maybe with an additive and then to fair , or build up with some cloth and left low in order to fair over the top, and what additive to use with west system for below the water line fairing . I tried to attach a photo but as usual it doesn’t work , some help with that would be much appreciated also .

I would certainly have some woven roving in the layup. That is what was there as the photos show. So you should do the same.

Getting epoxy to stick to steel is not easy. Speak to Wessex for advice on preparation and layup.
