Keel Cooler

The sintered bronze keel cooler I have from Penguin have worked really well but do suffer from the usual fouling. The recommendation is not to anti-foul and only clean with a brush which has meant that some calcium accretion has accumulated from the usual marine suspects. Anyone come across this and if so what have you doen about it?

Yup, have similar. Just wire brush it. From memory, the cooler is effectively porous, so if you antifouls it you block it up.
