"Kayak 1 is built in carbon fibre by America’s Cup boat builders in New Zealand, with timber detailing made by the country’s most highly regarded furniture maker.
In addition to a gloss carbon finish, gold plated brass fittings, and teak timber work, Kayak 1 can be ordered in colours, materials and finishes to suit one’s requirements, making it a truly bespoke product.
Kayak 1 strikes an exquisite balance between contemporary materials and form, and traditional
nautical styling. "

if you have to ask how much you canot afford it

Duck punt. No sails on the bling-canoe.

Actually, if you're offering, I'd have the bling-canoe, sell it, then buy the materials for the duck punt and have lots over for pies and beer.

At least the so-called Kayak1 has built in buoancy, have you considered water tight(ish) lockers on the duck punt in the event that you accidentally end up in water over 18" deep?

if you look you will see that there are fenders attached to the duck punt

it will float bit anyway

I am wearing a life jacket

however, in a possible stitch and glue duck punt I would add small stern and bow decks

and maybe a doughty

save a bit of weight

but recovery without bringing it ashore would be impossible

but the fenders provide a lot of bouyancy

plus a fat bloke in a life jacket
