Many thanks. Spent whole weekend chasing round South Norfolk as was co-organising a 2 day hike for Scouts and Explorers.
this is the 3rd time we have run the event. On Saturday they should have walked about 16 miles (some did nearer 20 by the time they found the correct route!) and just 12 on Sunday. Blisters were a sight to behold! We had 9 teams of Explorers (14 to 18 yo) who had to carry everything they needed for the 2 days (excluding water) and 4 teams of Scouts (10 to 14) who just carried selected items. All of them camped overnight (and it wasn't warm I am told!)
Nice to see about 60 young people out enjoying themselves. One team even resuced a dog that was lost (second year running one team has found a stray!)
