Hello Everyone,

While at SIBS yesterday, I visited the McMurdo booth; to my surprise, the sales person mentioned these 2 manufacturers are one and the same!

Additionally, user replaceable batteries are no longer a feature of any of their units.

McMurdo and Kannad are both owned by a French group called Orolia.
Still do much of the marine work at Portsmouth though.
The user replaceable batteries were a joke, a great lump of expensive plastic, not 6 AA's from the supermarket.
