We've got a strange problem re. trying to change control positions from Wheelhouse to Upper Helm.
We can start engine as normal from inside and all gear controls work properly.
With the engine still running and in Neutral we go "upstairs" and try to take over control from there by pressing the "key" button. Instead of a steady red light, followed by a steady green we get a flashing red and no green. Moving the gear lever produces no response.
However, if we start the engine from the upper helm position we get a steady red, no green, but the gears work perfectly normally and we have normal control. We can then go below and transfer over control as normal.
So the system works in one direction but not the other??
Any suggestions greatfully received before we have to cough-up the £300!!! odd quid for a replacement panel that may or may not solve the problem.
